5 basic towers with two choices for final upgrade would had meant 10 lvl 4 towers in total. I was hoping for more complex maps, and maybe just one new tower type itself, i mean if they kept the original style of 4 tier per tower. I'm not saying i didnt enjoy anything about it, but overall it felt severely lacking. It hurts, because i was really looking forward to KHV. Seems like you agree and i believe many others here would agree as well. I really tried to like the 4th game, but its impossible because of the reasons i posted. They're all good in their own ways, and i like the themes, music, art style etc. I have beaten all 3 kh games many, many times over the years. I have been a fan of kingdom rush games since they were just flash games. Sorry devs, I love you because you made these games that are one of the games I love the most, but KRV is pure garbage. Won't spend a dime on the huge pay wall the game has on mobile.

It has to8 many towers and its hard to create levels where all of them are usable, hence the simplistic, and smaller maps, for you to pick your favorite towers and heroes. Thry became greedy, and the whole game suffers for it. I bet they would see a lot more revenue if they just priced the game 2 dollars higher, or have an option to unlock all towers and heroes for 7 dollars. Companies want to lure in people who have severe addiction problems to squeeze as much money from them as they can, or trick players thinking the game is playable as free and then create difficulty walls, hoping players will use money to overcome those. They dont go with pay once style, because mobile gamers are less likely download premium game. Having more towers and heroes doesn't make a better game. It's one of the reasons I played KDV so much less than the first three. If you were to buy all the towers and heroes in KRV, it would cost more than FIFA 20, which is ridiculous. so why not just do away with MTs (microtransactions) and sell the game at a premium instead?

Tbh, longer development time and just charge 10€ to have all towers unlocked but could still have dlc heroes would had been better idea. Vengeance just didnt feel as polished and as well made as previous 3 games + paid towers was horrible idea. Medium cool down and teleports enemies pretty far back. Shadow archer girl was op, instant teleport to anywhere, one hit poison dagger to kill strong enemies, special skill did nice dmg and afaik true damage at that, destroys armor on every hit qs passive skill.ĭemon mage is balanced though i feel his teleport skill was op. The orc guy sucked, too squishy for melee, so his main use which is blocking didnt work too well. Heroes, well the 3 we were given free anyways, were mixed bag. I believe this is because there are too many of them, which makes level designing too hard.Ģ.

Aside from game having paid towers and heroes, there are things that will disappoint me on pc as well.ġ. I bought it on mobile and i was disappointed.
